From traditional cuisine to modern Chinese fare,
culinary gems are beautifully served dish by dish in sophisticated style.
Pamper your palate with a number of gourmet treats only available at Karyu.

The wide array of dishes offered at Karyu will never cease to evolve as they are based on Chef Teruo Tamura's deep insight and authentic traditional recipes, mixed with his creativity and playfulness. While placing great value on the basic menu, our gourmet treats—which are full of originality and which incorporate different genres and elements of Japanese, Western and ethnic cuisines—have garnered immense support from a wide customer base. Our culinary gems, which harmonize the five pleasant flavors (sour, bitter, sweet, spicy and salty) and that are served beautifully in a style reminiscent of Japanese kaiseki cuisine, offer plenty of surprises and delights to customers.

The Bay Bridge and the port of Yokohama may be viewed through panoramic windows on the hotel's top floor. We also have seats that offer a dynamic view of the nightscape including the giant Ferris Wheel.

Goose Liver Hot Pudding with Abalone(¥5,060)

Meltingly smooth hot pudding made from egg custard and the highest quality foie gras, lavishly topped with gently cooked Ezo abalone. The special sauce, shining gold and packed with the rich aroma of dried scallop adductors, is sure to stimulate your appetite. This premium gem is a perfect balance of the trinity of aroma, texture and taste.

Homemade Mango Pudding (¥990)

Fresh and ripe mangoes from the Philippines, known for their great balance of sourness and sweetness, are used in abundance to create this pudding with a smooth texture. This is the most popular dessert at Karyu, and one that lets you enjoy the thick taste and refreshing aroma of mangoes to the full.
